The Union County Homicide Task Force arrested a 23-year-old man earlier this week who was wanted in connection with a 2005 homicide in Elizabeth, said Prosecutor Theodore J. Romankow.
Tyrrell Jackson DOB: 9/12/1986 was arrested in Queens, near 144th Street and Rockaway Blvd. just after 11:30 a.m. He is the primary suspect in the May 9, 2005 homicide of Dana Reid which occurred near 170 Madison Avenue, said Romankow.
Complaints were signed against Jackson A.K.A. Twist on Dec. 4, 2009. His bail has been set at $750,000 by Union County Superior Court Judge James C. Heimlich.
The Homicide Task Force was assisted by the U.S. Marshalls and the New York Police Department.
