Elizabeth Man Found Guilty in Dec. 2007 Homicide

Awan Smith, who was convicted of first degree murder earlier this year will be sentenced on Friday in Union County Superior Court.

Smith will appear before Judge Joseph Donohue during the morning session. In order to bring cameras into the courtroom please call (908) 659-4810 for permission.

It is expected that the victim’s family will address the court.
