POLICE LOOKING FOR MURDER SUSPECT

The Union County Homicide Task Force is asking the public’s assistance in locating an Aberdeen, NJ man wanted in connection with the July 31, 2009 apparent stabbing death of Mark McDaniels, said Union County Prosecutor Theodore J. Romankow.

Police were called to 89 Bayway Avenue in Elizabeth around 4:15 a.m. last Friday where they discovered Mark McDaniels DOB: 7/23/1969 unresponsive in a parking lot. He was later pronounced dead at the scene, said Romankow.

Members of the Homicide Task Force quickly identified Shaviaea Williams DOB: 1/27/1978 of Aberdeen as the primary suspect. Efforts to locate Mr. Williams have not been successful.
