Prosecutors on Thursday charged a Roselle man with voting twice in the June 2, primary.
Marc Baltimore DOB: 2/10/1965 was charged with one count of 3rd Degree attempting to vote twice in the same election, said Union County Prosecutor Theodore J. Romankow.
According to the investigation, he submitted an absentee ballot and also voted in person. The Prosecutor’s Office was notified of the alleged double voting by the County Election Board, which carries the responsibility of making sure elections are run in accordance of the law, said Romankow.
The investigation was led by Prosecutor’s Office Detective Johnny Ho.
Baltimore is scheduled to appear before Judge Joan Robinson Gross next Friday.
These criminal charges are mere accusations.
The defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. |
