Stream day lighting project in Warinanco Park |

Merck Project Engineer Jeanette Savinon (L) and Kean University Professor Daniella Shebitz (2nd R) speak with Union County Freeholder Chairwoman Bette Jane Kowalski and Freeholder Vice Chairman Angel G. Estrada about a stream day lighting project in Warinanco Park in Roselle. The project, the first of its kind in the state, will expose an existing underground piped stream and create additional linear stream footage to replicate a natural watercourse with curves, stone work and native plantings. The new, approximately 2,000 feet-long stream will provide excellent wildlife habitat and added aesthetic value the park. |
