Union County Freeholder Chairman Al Mirabella (2nd R) and Freeholders Deborah Scanlon (3rd R) and Nancy Ward (L) present Linden Mayor John T. Gregorio (3rd L), Purchasing Agent/Deputy Municipal Clerk Joseph Bodek (2nd L) and Recreation Director Alfred Volpe (R) with a $113,780 Kids Recreation Trust Fund grant on October 12. The Union County Board of Chosen Freeholders presented checks to 20 municipalities to fund projects through the Union County Open Space, Recreation and Historic Preservation Trust Fund’s 2006 Kids Recreation Trust Fund grant program. A total of $2 million was awarded to the municipalities. |
