Union County Freeholder Chairman Al Mirabella and Phyllis Monguso (back R), Supervisor of Senior Citizen Activities, join Dorothy Medvecky (L) and Alma Roberts as they examine a new defibrillator at the Township of Union Senior Citizen Center. The center is one of many public facilities serving senior citizens that will receive the life-saving device donated by the County of Union. The defibrillator distribution program was one of Freeholder Chairman Mirabella’s initiatives for 2006. As part of this program, training will also be provided. The machines were purchased with federal Community Development Block Grant money. |
