Union County Youths Get a Taste of Science
 
Union County Freeholder Bette Jane Kowalski (r) and Merck Scientist Milana Maletic (c) help Kevin Huff of Rahway make ice cream as part of a science activity provided by the Merck Institute for Science Education, during the Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Union County 4-H Summer Science Program. The program served more than 600 children throughout Union County this summer with science and engineering activities, and visits with scientists from the pharmaceutical company Merck.
