CLARK, NJ – The Union County Summer Arts Festival concert series continues on Wednesday, Aug. 4, with a performance by Doctor K’s Motown Review. The Union County Board of Chosen Freeholders, led by Chairman Daniel P. Sullivan, invites the public to attend this free concert of Motown favorites, beginning at 7:30 p.m. at Oak Ridge Park in the Township of Clark. When it comes to Motown music, it’s not just the songs, but the memories associated with them that have forever imprinted the Motown Sound in the hearts and souls of so many music fans. Paul Korman’s quest was to create the ultimate Motown tribute band and he has succeeded, assembling an array of seasoned musicians and singers. Korman’s band, now known as Doctor K’s Motown Review, performs a fantastic history of music from the 1960s that remains a part of our daily lives. “Bring the entire family for an evening of popular music in Oak Ridge Park,” said Freeholder Chairman Sullivan. “Pack a picnic basket, bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on, and enjoy the fabulous Motown sounds under the stars.” The Union County information van will be at the concert site with knowledgeable staff from the Union County Office of Cultural and Heritage Affairs to answer questions and offer information about interesting activities and programs available to Union County residents. The Summer Arts Festival concerts continue in August on Wednesdays beginning at 7:30 p.m. The concerts will be held at Oak Ridge Park in Clark. Lawn chairs, blankets and picnic baskets are encouraged. Refreshments and snacks will be available from vendors. The remaining free concerts in the Union County Summer Arts Festival series include:
