Every year during County Government Week, Union County Freeholders thank the employees of Union County government for all of the work they do throughout the year.
Freeholder Mohamed S. Jalloh, liaison to RUNNELLS Specialized Hospital of Union County visited RUNNELLS to express his appreciation to the employees for their hard work on behalf of the residents and patients. It was also an opportunity for employees to speak with a member of the freeholder board and enjoy the refreshments provided by the facility’s Food and Nutrition Services Department. The hospital was one of several sites that the Freeholders visited during County Government Week.
“People don’t hear often enough when they are doing a good job,” Freeholder Jalloh stated. “I join the other members of the Board of Chosen Freeholders to thank the men and women at RUNNELLS who do so much for those in their care.”
The facility, located at 40 Watchung Way in Berkeley Heights includes a Nursing Care unit for long and short stays as well as sub-acute nursing; respite care stays to relieve caregivers and a behavioral health unit. RUNNELLS is easily accessible from Routes 22, 24, and 78. |
