(L-R) Both Jeanne Crofton of Scotch Plains, a 12 year RUNNELLS SpecializedHospital volunteer and Betsy Holderried of Fanwood, Fanwood Presbyterian Church member and former RUNNELLS food service worker took part in the Presbyterian Women of the Fanwood Presbyterian Church Sew-A-Thon. They joined Cena Pollitt of Fanwood, Fanwood Presbyterian Church member and Sew-A-Thon Coordinator to present the bags to Patricia Scott of Union, Certified Recreation Supervisor (CRS) and Director of Volunteer Services and Activities Therapy for RUNNELLS.

The Presbyterian Women of the Fanwood Presbyterian Church completed a Sew-A-Thon for the Martin Luther King Day of Service. The group sewed bags for wheelchairs and walkers which were donated to RUNNELLS SpecializedHospital of Union County’s patients and residents.

“My thanks to this wonderful group,” said Union County Freeholder Mohamed S. Jalloh, Freeholder liaison to RUNNELLS SpecializedHospital. “Their project honors Dr. King, while helping RUNNELLS residents and patients.”
