A Message from Freeholder Chairman Daniel P. Sullivan
Welcome to the Union County Green Connection. This year we embark on Go Green Round 3, which continues our current green actions and introduces a full slate of exciting new programs: a solar financing program for municipalities and a solar installation for Runnells Hospital, a new recycling and community education drive, and a $3 million statewide job-creating weatherization initiative that partners Union County Vocational-Technical Schools with New Jersey Building Laborers International Local 55 and nine other vo-tech schools. Please check into the Green Connection for news and updates on all of our green programs, along with green tips that help your household, workplace, or business save money.
