The Union County Office
of Cultural and Heritage Affairs promotes and develops public interest and participation in the
arts and local, county
and state history, and ensures that all citizens and residents have the opportunity to fully share in and benefit
from the rich multi-cultural arts, history
and historic resources in Union County. Activities enhance quality of life, economic development, community revitalization, growth of cultural-heritage tourism and enhanced educational experiences for residents of all ages.
Annual programs include the Teen Arts Festival (March), Employee Art
Show (May), |

Senior Citizens Art Show (June), and
Four Centuries in a Weekend and
Art in the Gardens (October).
On-going services include technical assistance workshops, Care for Caregivers Program, gallery exhibits, Union County Arts Grant Program,
Union County History Grant Program and the HEART (History, Education,
Arts Reaching Thousands) Grant Program for eligible non-profit organizations and individual artists. Call for information and a brochure. |
