Se ofrece amplia oportunidad para personas retiradas, de 60 años o más, para que compartan su tiempo, habilidades y talentos ayudando a otros, en calidad de voluntarios. Estos voluntarios ayudan en su vecindario a los ancianos delicados de salud, para que se mantengan envueltos en el núcleo de la comunidad y se sientan bien. También sirven de compañía, van de compras, leen, escriben cartas, hacen reparaciones pequeñas en el hogar y asisten llenando solicitudes. Pueden ser también buenos escuchas. |
